I just recently got a new visiting sister companion, who is awesome and is a really cute girl and we ended up getting a new sister to visit teach (due to my one moving out of the ward - I miss you Keri).
Normally when you visit teach you plan on being there for about a 15 minutes to a half hour and then you move on to the next sister's house. This last week my companion and I went to visit our new sister's house and we were very gabby and ended up being at her house for an hour and a half - crazy. It was the best time I have ever had. In the end I found out that she is my husband's 2nd cousin. How bizarre is that.
Here is how it breaks down - Her Grandpa Wayne is Jerry Ottley's brother. My mother in law (Joyce) her mother is Jerry's sister. But if you really want to get into it, my husbands father (George) his sister is Joanne who is married to Jerry.
Wow, do I need to run that by you one more time?
Wayne, Jerry and Lael are brother's and sister. George and JoAnne are brother and sister.
Wayne is my new VT sister's Grandfather, Lael is Joyce's mom and Jerry is just Jerry. Jerry ended up marrying JoAnne.
We try to keep it in the family. So besides that my new sister's husband went to elementary school with Jason (Jeremy, my husbands brother).
What a very small world. So all I can say is when you go Visiting Teaching take the time and get to know your sister, because who knows you might be related.

I really miss your visits too! You are someone who is really easy and fun to visit with. I have to say that I have always struggled with a testimony of visiting teaching. Some women have such great experiences, but most of the ladies I visited (with a few exceptions) seemed like they would rather do anything but have me bothering or helping them. And you are one of the few visiting teachers I have ever had who actually visited me and was interested in my life! You were a super VT and I miss ya. Hope to talk to you soon! ;)
