New Shoes, A Picnic & The Pie

The kids and I headed into Payless where to check out some new shoes for the kiddos. After looking, trying on, trying on more, the kids finally found some that they loved.

Abi picked grey Minnie shoes and Jack picked orange Planes shoes.

After running errands we decided to pick up some lunch and have a little picnic.

We headed home to wait for Jeremy. After Jeremy got home from work we decided to head out and have dinner at the pie.

Such a fun family night!

Discovery Gateway

Since having all of these fun things to do during the summer, Swimming, Seven Peaks, more Swimming, I figured I needed to figure something out for winter. After looking at a few different places decided to get a season pass to Discovery Gateway. After buying it we headed there with a couple of hours to spare and in the end the kids didn't want to leave. I know we will be heading there when the winter months come upon us.

On the main floor they have a "bee hive" which the kids collect balls and place them different tubes having them reach the same destination. Next you move to a contruction zone. A full furnished house with a grocery store and farm near by to collect your basic needs. Then you can play and play and play in the water section.

When going upstairs you can play with different trinkets, a news room, be a weather person, and build buildings. Then finally a helicopter awaits on the patio for the kids to sit in and pretend to fly.

Such a fun place to go for a few hours.

Ferris Wheel & Scheel's

We decided on working around the house to make an outing of the snowy day and head to Scheel's. Around christmas time I took this kids for their Santa pictures and Jeremy was at work, so it was his first time. Jeremy LOVED the Ferris Wheel and so we bought the tickets since they are a $1.00. Jack decided he wanted to ride with me and little miss Abi was so scared she wanted to ride with her Daddy.

Once the Ferris Wheel ride was over we headed upstairs to check things out. We came across some little red rider guns.

After trying out their little guns we headed home, but not before they got pictures with the bear.

Such a fun filled day.
