Today We Say Goodbye

Hally was laid down to rest today after breaking her hip yesterday. She joined our family in September of 2003. She was rescued by friends who saw her be tossed into a box at a McDonalds and the people drove off. She was then taken to the friends house where they went in search of someone to adopt this precious puppy.

I remember telling Jeremy about her and so we decided to check her out. I arrived at our friends house first and new as soon as I saw her that we would not be leaving without her.

That night we brought her home.

We thought that she was going to be a full grown Boxer, but as she started to grow her long torso  and her long legs told us that she was a mix. Regardless of being a mix she was a very fun, playful and fast dog. She was a gentle soul who has always thought that she was still a puppy, finding the right time to jump onto the couch and sit in your lap.

We have enjoyed the years that Hally has given us and she will be missed.

She will be joining her sister Sparky in Heaven.

We love you Hally and will think of you often. We know that your other sister Daisy will miss you as well and won't know what to do without you or who to torment.

We LOVE you and will see you again!

2007 Glamour Shots

Since our dogs are our children in September of 2007 we decided to get our family pictures done and in the mean time we decided to get our dogs their glamour shots.

Daisy

Daisy is the youngest, she is also our PITA. We decided to get a third dog due to the fact that when Sparky passes, we didn't want Hally to be lonely. So when we went to pick Daisy up out of all of the puppies she was the only one that came up to Jeremy. When I got there she did the same thing, she is our baby.

Hally

Hally is our middle child. She is 5 years old. We thought she was going to turn out to be a full bred boxer, however she started growing long legs. So she is our boxer/greyhound mix.

Sparky

Sparky is our oldest child. She is 13. I got her for my 16th birthday. Although she is old her and Daisy still have thier fun every once in a while.

Dogs

Dogs are funny animals. They are kind of like babies - they eat, sleep and go to the bathroom. However I guess if you don't have kids, they are next best thing. Jeremy and I have been trying to start a family and in the mean time we have three dogs.

Sparky - Who I got from my highschool boyfriend for my 16th birthday. She is the oldest dog that we have and is the grumpy one out of the three. She is an American Eskimo. I bread her once and she had 8 puppies which I see one of her puppies every once in a while.

Hally - She is our second oldest. She was rescued. She will be 5 this September. Some friends of ours were coming home from Wyoming when they saw a lady toss her into a box and take off. Our friends couldn't keep her so they asked everyone if they wanted to adopt her. So we did. She is a Boxer/Greyhound mix. Just think of her with a Boxer Head and a Greyhound body. She is a lover definetly not a fighter and likes to cuddle.

Daisy - aka PITA - She is the baby of the family. She is a Weimaraner. She will be 3 years in February. She is the crazy one. Mz Independent however a cuddler when she wants to be. We have to try and take her to the PARK or else she goes bananas.

They are truly People's Best Friend. They are there when you need them.
