Each and every year I look forward to this annual Bunko party. It consists of Aunts, Uncles and cousins on the Hone side together for catching up, laughing, eating, playing bunko and exchanging gifts. Since my Grandparents have passed this has become a tradition rotating between Jerilyn, Jolene and Mom's homes. This year was nice because it was at Mom's house and Jeremy was able to join us since switching jobs.
I apologize that I don't have any pictures of this fun event, but I did have to share as part of my journal.
A couple of events that happened was Brooke got three naturals, making her win the money pot for the year. The other event was there was a present that was wrapped in princess wrapping. Well since Christmas Abigail has been wanting to open more presents so she thought that this particular present was for her. So as one of the adults picked it and opened it to find princess dress up stuff, Abigail went crazy, because she thought that was her gift. One of the second cousins there was going to steal that gift to then give it to Abigial. What a kind hearted spirit that little second cousin was to try and do that to the upset Abigail. In the end Mom stole the gift from the person that opened it and then I stole it from Mom. Abigial is happily in love with her dresses and crowns.

Merry Christmas
What a day this Christmas turned out to be. As we ate our Christmas Eve dinner (pizza and salad), we opened out magic jamies and got ready for bed. As we sat watching a christmas movie all of a sudden Jack wasn't feeling so well and everything came out and into a bowl. We were able to get Abi off to bed, however Jack was another story. As anything and everything wouldn't stay down we finally got him to sleep. At about 2 am Jeremy and I awoke to a deadly scream which came from Jack as he had another upset stomach upburst. We brought him into our room and finally got him back to sleep. At about 7 am Abi woke and come into our room. At around 8 we finally decided to climb out of bed and see what Santa brought.
Jack and Abi got Leap Pad 2's with three cartridges each. They also got clothes. Jack got the Lorax movie and trains to go on his train table. Abigail got Brave the movie, along with Barbie clothes and more princess barbies.
We weren't feeling too hot to make it to Grandma South's for breakfast, but on our way to the Heinrichs event we stopped by to visit.
As we headed over to the Heinrichs event, Jeremy wasn't feeling well. For our dinner we prepared Crab, Lobster, Artichoke, Potatoes and of course Broccoli Cheese Soup. It was all really delicious.
After dinner and cleaning up the kitchen we headed to the living room and the sorting of present began. One by one all the presents under the tree started to disappear.
Brooke and Logan had our names this year and they were so thoughtful here is what everyone got - Jack got a RC Monster Truck, Abigail got a Play Doh Princess Castle, Jeremy got a RC four wheeler/helicopter and I got a beautiful sweater with a neclace. From Grandma we got Jack got a RC Firetruck, Abigail got a baby sister, and Jeremy and I got a home made levi quilt.

I am so blessed to have family, the gospel and the savior in my life. Although sometimes we forget the real meaning of Christmas I know that in our hearts we know the true meaning, of the Savior's birth and that he gave his life for us. Merry Christmas.

Dinner, Lights and a Birthday
Tonight as a family and with my brothers and their wife's and kiddo's we headed downtown for a birthday celebration. Mom. We headed to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and to the Garden for some delicious dinner. After we filled our stomach's we decided to head out to the warm weather for a stroll around Temple Square and check out the lights.
Seeing the lights has become a tradition and not just any tradition I guess a senitmental one, becuse it was thirteen years ago Jeremy proposed to me on the south fountain with the twinkling christmas light sparkling around us.
It was such a fun night, hanging out with family, celebrating my mom, stuffing our stomach's, and ending it with lights, the Temple and the Savior. Happy Birthday Mom!

Jack & Abi in November
November came and went like a flash of lightening and the kids are growing as fast as that.
Jack - you continue to grow into a handsome young man. Your smile melts any hearts and in return gets a smile. You continue to learn each and every day and love going to preschool. It is so fun to listen to you on what you learned that day. You have really started getting into video games. You LOVE playing the Wii and you have started to really get into the XBox. You continue to have a love hate relationship with your sister, but it is so nice when both of you are getting along, laughing and smiling.
Abigail - you love to sing. I recently added some songs on my iphone and you know exactly where to go and you start singing along. You have started to follow your brother into playing more video games, playing especially on the Wii and trying to play the XBox. You love anything that has to do with princess' and loves playing with your barbies. You like to follow your brother around and make him mad, but there are times when the two of you are laughing, smiling and goofing with each other.

Visitors from Cambria
Dad and Christine were supposed to come into town Thanksgiving Day but with the over crowded flights they were bumped to the later flight getting in at midnight. With the four busy days ahead of us we tried to pack what we could in.
Friday Night we headed to their hotel for chatting, swimming and eating some pizza.

Saturday, with our kids being sick, I met up with the gang for lunch at Crown Burger. While we dranks our cokes, gobled down our burgers and fries, we then decided to head up to This Is The Place monument.

Brooke & Logan
After This Is The Place monument we made our way to the movie theater where we shoveled popcorn while enjoying the screening of Skyfall.
Sunday we headed over to Logan & Brooke's for some football. Sorry unfortunately there are no pictures.
Monday we headed to the traditional Chinese Gourmet on 45th and State. While we ate our all you can eat chinese food a clown came by our table. He is a professional balloon maker. After the kids balloon orders were taken and made the kids used them as weapons against each other. Again I apologize for no pictures were taken, yes I am a slacker.
However it was fun to hang out with Dad & Christine, until next time.

Thanksgiving
I am so Thankful for so many things and blessings. Although a lot of people share throughout the month of November each day of what they are thankful for I figured I would list my top 10 in this blog.
1. My Life
2. My Parents
3. My Brothers - although they might drive me crazy life wouldn't be the same without them.
4. My Husband - for the friendship, support, the shoulder to cry on and the arms to pick me back up.
5. My Kids - even though it took us quite a while, our lives are so full and we love Jack and Abigail so much that it was so worth the wait.
6. Eternal Family - I am so blessed to be sealed to my husband and my kids for all time and eternity.
7. The Gospel - I know I need to be better at practicing and creating habits of reading the scriptures, praying, attending church, etc. I know that the gospel is true and I am proud to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
8. My Home - To have a roof over my families head and call it home.
9. Friends - all through my life I have made friends and aquantances and I am thankful for the ones who have stayed in my life, who I laugh with, and spend time with.
10. Love and Support - Our lives are always changing and I guess the top 10 thing I am thankful for is love and support from my friends and family.
Mom and I like to trade off every other year on where Thanksgiving is going to be. This year Thanksgiving was going to be held at our house. So Mom, Brooke and Logan came over to help us enjoy the festivities.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
