Ferris Wheel & Scheel's

We decided on working around the house to make an outing of the snowy day and head to Scheel's. Around christmas time I took this kids for their Santa pictures and Jeremy was at work, so it was his first time. Jeremy LOVED the Ferris Wheel and so we bought the tickets since they are a $1.00. Jack decided he wanted to ride with me and little miss Abi was so scared she wanted to ride with her Daddy.

 

 

 

 

Once the Ferris Wheel ride was over we headed upstairs to check things out. We came across some little red rider guns.

 

After trying out their little guns we headed home, but not before they got pictures with the bear.

 

 

Such a fun filled day.

 

 

 

Ode to Love

Usually Valentine's isn't a big deal around our house, but this year I decided to change things up a bit. Last year my Sister In Law did the 14 days of Valentine's, so I decided to add this on to our little tradition. With Jeremy working hard and late I figured something should brighten his day. So the kids and I headed to the store and bought some treats to fill in for the 14 Day's of Valentines. Unfortunately I one, didn't take pictures of each of the days and two, I forgot what treats and sayings I did each day, so please forgive me. Since Valentine's ended on a Thursday Jeremy and I decided to celebrate on  Saturday to do a luncheon and then go to a matinee.

We headed to Market Street for the their Crab Fest they hold each year between January and February.

We decided to share their Artichoke Dip and Chips, the Three Crab Feast and during their luncheons they serve chocolate covered strawberries. How delicious.

After stuffing our faces and enjoying a nice little dessert, we headed to the District to see Safe Haven. I read the book in three days and really liked it and not having to twist Jeremy's arm too badly we really enjoyed the movie.

What's In A Name?

 

Before dinner, Jeremy and I were talking with Jack. We mentioned on if he knew how to spell his name. So on this piece of paper is Jack's first try on spelling his name. Love it!

Superbowl XLVII

This year as a tradition we had a little super bowl party. Mom, Landon and Cristy and their kids came over. We decided to make it easy this year (when usually we go ALL OUT) so we did tacos. We had chips and salsa, guacamole which was eaten in 2 minutes.

For half time we cooked up some beignets - they were delicious.

Although I don't have any pictures, yes I am sorry. It was a really fun event.
