Memorial Day

It's Memorial Day and after lounging around we decided to meet up with Logan and Brooke at Rita's near Scheels. It was nice to visit and get caught up. After our delicious drinks we headed over to Sceels so Jermy and Jack could go on the Ferris wheel, while Abi and Logan went to window shop.

Love days like today. Thank you to all the men and women out the who have and are serving our country so we may continue to be a FREE country.

A Girl's Weekend

A group of girls from our neighborhood decided to get together and head down to Vegas. I made arrangements to use my timeshare. It was fun, drama infested, exhausting and by Sunday I was easy to come home.

Happy Birthday Jack

Jack turned 5! Can't believe my little man is turning 5. I will never forget the day we first met and saw him and immediately fell in love with him. That love has continued to only grow stronger and can't imagine our life or family without him.

For his big 5 birthday we figured we would invite his little friends over and do a themed party. After asking Jack what he would like it all came down to Star Wars!

We went shopping and got a Star Wars table cloth, Darth Vader masks and pool noodles to turn them into light sabers.

Once the friends arrived we had them go outside and we ate some pizza and had "yoda soda."

After lunch the "Jedi" training was going to start. First phase was maneuvering through the red lazers down the deck and try to not have your limbs cut off.

Everyone did a great job. Second phase was to catch a chicken. We let our chickens out and the kids had to chase and catch one. After they caught one they would sit on the stairs of the deck. It was quite a site and I think the kids really like it.

Third phase was how to handle a light saber. After passing the three phases they were ready for some Star Wars fighting.

They were off playing hide and go seek light saber fighting.

We then had cake. The Jedi fighters loved the Star Wars cup cakes.

Happy Birthday to my most Amazing, Jedi Fighter, Lego Lover, All around boy. We love you Jack and wish you so many more birthdays!

Vegas and heading home

W got up, got dressed, packed up and checked out of our room to work our way home, but before heading home I wanted eat at the Wynn for their brunch. To be perfectly honest I was a little disappointed and would choose the Bellagio buffet over the Wynn.

After breakfast we headed to the Wynn's atrium.

After walking through we headed back to the car to make our trek home. We had such a fun time, can't wait to do it again.

Vegas, Day 3

Consisted off about the same as day 2. We ate breakfast, got Into our swim gear and headed to the pool for some water time.

Later in the afternoon some friends who live in Vegas came and swam with us. After swimming for a little while we headed up to the room to get ready and head out to dinner. My sister in law Brooke came down to Vegas with a girlfriend and came to this place and since Jeremy LOVES BBQ I figured why not, so Thanks Brooke for the idea.

My favorite was the drinks came in mason jars.

After along filled day it was time to say goodbye and back to the timeshare we went.

Vegas, Day 2

Started with a little continental breakfast. Cereal, bagels, yogurt and fruit...Ok and maybe some Doritos.

After filling our bellies we got our swimsuits on along with some sunscreen and headed down to make a splash.

Jack and Abi made a little friend, which they swam with most of the day.

Of coarse Abi had to be buried in the sand.

Then she escaped.

Lounging by the pool. After our long day of swimming we headed back up to the room to get ready for my birthday. Jeremy and I watch a show called "Flipping Vegas" and after one of the shows they went to this place for dinner so we figured we would try it.

Even though they didn't have kid coloring books they had something better, pizza dough. Jack and Abi played with their pizza dough the whole time.

After a delicious dinner we headed to the Bellagio, but the kids had to pose first.

The one thing I love about going to Vegas is going to the Bellagio and seeing what design they have created in the atrium. This time it was all about flowers and butterflies.

After the Bellagio we headed over to the Paris. I have always wanted to go up the Eiffel Tower.

After we got our tickets and waited in line for the ride up the tower, Abigail had a complete meltdown as she thought the Eiffel Tower was the Tower of Terror. After finally calming her down it as our turn to head up and she was still very hesitant. After we reached the top, she thought it was so cool and was completely fine.

Jack, however was a little afraid to sit on the enclosed edge.

After the ride we were tired and ready for bed to back to the room we headed.
