Redneck In Drive Way

While Justin is at Drill Sgt Training he made an arrangement with some girl who I have no idea how he knows her or got her information, however this girl and her (I guess) boyfriend came over to take Justin's wheels off of his car. They were then going to put her wheels on his car or she was selling some wheels or something of that nature. Well since they got to our house late they were only able to get his wheels off and I think they tried having Walmart take of her tires, but their was a defect or something so we had a redneck Mazda 6 in our driveway sitting on four jacks until tires were put back on his car.
Justin, your car is now looking hot!!

Just Keep Swimming

Jeremy, Jack and I were invited to go over to our neighbors house for dinner and swimming. The Wheelers are always so much fun to spend time with. Their kids Lilly and Reese are just adorable and they love Jack. So we headed over there. We had a nice dinner and then it was time to swim. (I love to swim) So after talking with Jennifer I was explaining that I had tried to find plastic pants due to the crypto virus and all children under a certain age (I think) they have to wear plastic pants. Well Jennifer had some from when she bought them for Reese and she gave them to me (so nice) We got Jack ready to go and he had his first swimming experience.

Then for their adoption play group it was at the wheelers again and we of coarse went swimming. Its fun to see Jack face when he is in the water, he just absorbs everything and just looks around. I can't wait to get him in the mommy and baby swim classes at the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center.

Slumber Parties

Jason and Tawnie decided to have a date night so since it was in advance I offered to watch their kids. They were planning on going to the fights up in Layton however they decided in stead to go to dinner and a movie. Although we were watching Jason, Madie, and Tyler we had already made arrangements to go to my friend Lauren's house for a BBQ. We loaded the kids in two cars (safety first) and headed to Sandy where Lauren and her family live.

Here are some pictures before we left.

Jon and Lauren have a little boy Andrew who will be three in August. When we got there Madi, Jason and Tyler started playing. When it was time to leave Lauren made a best friend with Tyler and he did not want to leave her side.

As we headed home, Tyler was passed out with exhaustion and Jason and Madie wanted to take a bath. So they spent some time in the tub and then finally it was time for bed. The end result lies before you. I hope they had fun, We had fun and we always enjoy having them come over.

To Jeremy & My Dad

Jeremy,

Today is your first Fathers Day. Thank you so much for being there for me and Jack. Thank you for helping feed Jack, bathe him, change his diapers, and getting up with him on the weekends. You are such a great dad and although you may feel that he prefers me over you, he loves you and can't wait to run around with you.

Dad,

Although you live so far away, I miss you always. I will always be your little girl and no one can take that from me. I love you, wish you were here, wish you could be in your grand kids life more, but where you need to be is in California. I love you and hope you have a wonderful Father's Day.

9 Years

Jeremy and I have been married for 9 years today. I can't believe we have been married for this long and we have eternity to go. I just have to say what a lucky girl I am to have a supportive husband that will do anything for me. He is my soul mate, my love, a new father and I know that he loves his family.

For our anniversary we went to Olive Garden. It has been a while since I have been there and it sounded really good. I got my Shrimp and Asparagus Risotto and Jeremy got their all you can eat soup, salad and breadsticks.

Earlier that day we went over to my mom's so that she could see Jack since we were going to go visit her Friday night, however no one answered so we headed home. As we were there she then volunteered on watching Jack. So we took her up on her offer. During our dinner Jeremy says to me, "I miss our boy." So we got our dessert to go and headed back to mom's house where they were just hanging out.

Babe, Thanks for a great night and being a great husband. I love you!

Jack's Newborn Glamour Shots

A couple of years ago, when I was in the Training Department at Mountain America Credit Union, I was training a teller class and this girl (who I honestly can't remember her name) was telling everyone that her cousin is a photographer. Well although people might think it corney I have been wanting to get our family photos done. So I took her card and that fall we met with Nickell and she became our photographer. She does such a good job and is resonably priced. Well since we received a new addition to our family I figured we need to get pictures of him. So we met with her 10 days after Jack was born to get his Newborn pictures taken. I do have to say that I have a pretty hansome man. I hope you enjoy some of the photos that she took and if you are interested in using her check out her website at http://www.photosbynickell.com/

1 Month Old

I can't believe it has been a month. I feel as if I have accomplished nothing, but I guess being a mom you just work on getting adjusted. Jack has been such a blessing and so much fun to have in our family. Jack is getting big every day. He is beginning on getting a pooch belly just like his dad.

This last week has been fun seeing the dogs warm more up to Jack. We have captured pictures of Daisy and Hally watching and protecting their new owner.

The slideshow below is an over view of the last month and the last few pictures are of the last week. I hope you enjoy and I will post about Jack here and there but for sure on his month to month milestones.

3 Weeks Old

I can't believe that my little boy is almost a month old. Time just flies when you you are occupied. These last 3 weeks have just been wonderful. Jack it starting to be on a schedule and is sleeping about 3 - 4 hours at night which he is hungry then he will go right back to sleep and wake up in another 3 - 4 hours. He is becoming social. He can tell when he is alone (which he hates, and cries and cries and cries) however when I get him and bring him in the same room he is totally fine. He is loved by everyone, family, friends and is going to have so many friends. Jeremy is loving being a dad. He and Jack hang out occasionally (mostly after work) and he loves every minute of it. Of coarse Jeremy can't wait until Jack and hold up his head on his own so he can carry him around in those back pack things and they can work on the yard and garden together.

Family & Friends Baby Shower

Thank you to all my friends and family. Without you life would not be enjoyable. My two dear friends who I have known now for 10 years or more (Laurie and Lauren) have always been there for me. They are like my distant sisters. I am so glad to have them in my life.

Laurie and Lauren found out about Jack in March (sorry to anyone who is offended) They decided that they would plan my shower. Giving them permission, my sister in law Aspen also wanted to help. So the three of them arranged everything. We had the shower at Mountain America's Corporate Office in the cafeteria.

It was wonderful. All that attended - Children; Madison, Little Jason, Tyler, Kylie, Sadie, Brynlie, Benjamin and of coarse Jack. Adults; Aspen, Tawnie, Lou, Vicky (my mom) Andrea (my mom's college and long time friend), Adrian (Jeremy's cousin), Sharon Wade, her mom, Sally Kershisnik (Laurie's mom) and of coarse Laurie, Lauren and Myself.

I had such a wonderful time, and Thank you everyone who attended and I am sorry for any one who wasn't able to come, we missed you.
