A Swig and a Visit

Today we woke up late due to the late night the night before, had breakfast, got dressed and headed out to pick up Joyce to go visit George in the hospital. You could tell that his spriits were lifted seeing his new visitors for the day. We stayed for about a couple of hours, chatting, eating watermelon, cherries and of coarse playing on the phones.

After we headed out to head home we decided to stop at Swig's in Lehi. I was introduced to Swig's on my girls trip when we stopped in St. George.

Our drinks were delicious. I got a Dirty Coke, Jeremy a dirty Mountain Dee, Joyce a fruit shake and a sugar and peanut butter cookie. 

It was such a fun afternoon. 

Dinner Date

Tonight we headed over to Jake and Mindy's since we haven't seen them in a while. We had Salmon, 7 lauded salad, vegetable kabobs, brownie's, and some good old fashion spending time with family.

It was a fun night, chatting with Jake and Mindy as well as he watching the cute cousins play. We ended up not leaving until about midnight and the played until we headed out the door.

Seven Peaks, Cousin Fun

Today the kids, cousins and I headed down to Provo for some Seven Peak fun. Yes, I know what you are thinking and it is true...We are Seven Peak bums! There was quite a cloud cover for most of the day and then about lunch time the sun finally decided to show its face. We headed to the car about 4:30 pm just before it started raining. The ride home was quite exciting due to us driving IN the storm.

Upgrade!

This kids have upgraded from their 5 point harness to actual seatbelt a. Not of my choice, one of the top buckles broke and one can't be different than the other. I guess this just goes to show that our cute little ones are growing.

Our 14 Year Anniversary

14 years has come quite quickly. I can't believe that We have been married 14 years. With all of the ups and downs struggles and happy moments, Jeremy and I have been through a lot and I couldn't imagine going through all of that with anyone else. I am so happy to have this strong man in my life, the support, the love, the protecting arms, the tears and the laughs. I hope we have many years ahead to celebrate.

We decided to keep this anniversary a little simple so we had George and Joyce watch the kids and we headed to the movies. We decided to see "The Fault in our Stars," it was a really good movie, you needed tissues, but besides that it was good. 

After the movie we headed to Longhorn Steakhouse in Ft. Union, all I can say is DELICIOUS and that we will be going back.

Jeremy got a hamburger with the prime rib on it and I got a chicken and avocado sandwich. 

Afterward we headed back to pick up this kids and head home. It was a nice relaxing anniversary.

A day at the Zoo & the Splash Pad

We headed to the zoo today along with everyone else. It was quite the happening place, but still fun to see the new exhibits that they have finished. As well as riding the train that was down all last year. We decided to invite the cousins - Bubba and Tyler and I think they had fun.

After the zoo we headed home to have lunch and then we headed to the new splash pad/park - thirds got wet and I don't blame them since it was a hot hot day.

Such a fun day!

Seven Peaks Pics

We decided to renew our Seven Peaks passes this year. The kids and I have been I think more than five times and although we mainly do the same thing, but the pictures are different, I will just post the pictures and I am sure there will be more to come.

New Park Exploration

In West Jordan they added on to the Ron Wood Park adding an awesome playground and splash pad. We decided to head out there and do a little exploring.
