A day with their Cousin

Jack and Abigail were able to hang out with one of their favorite cousins. Jeremy and I headed to the Jordan River Temple to do a session and then went to lunch. When we arrived to pick up the kids they were sad that they had to leave. I am sure they will get to play again.

A Brushing Teeth Gangsta

A car ride to City Creek

As it was such a nice day Jeremy, the kiddos and I decided to head down town for a stroll, so we went to City Creek.

We made our way to the Disney Store and as Jack and Abi was on full overload Abi dropped what she was doing and headed over to the big screen that was playing short movies especially Frozen and the sing a long version of what song....anyone? You guessed it, "Let it Go."

After the Disney Store and as we were making our way back to the fountains we came upon Caire's where we tried to talk Abi into getting her ears pierced. In the end she decided to wanted to wait until she turned five and they tried on sunglasses instead.

The kids wanted to ride the elevator and after making our way to the second floor there were some lounge chairs so we sat for a while.

Since we were enjoying the evening we made our way to Hire's for some dinner.

A delicious root beer float

A fries helicopter

I love spending time with my cute little family. I look forward to each and every outing we have.

Doggying Around

Need I say more.

Corndogs

As the kids were hanging out with Jeremy they made it to Maverick and got some corndogs and enjoyed them in the back of the CRV.

A birthday and Nickelcade

The kids got invited to their fiends birthday and it wasn't just a birthday party it turned into Ninja Turtle Training.

It looked so fun that I even tried on the mask...

Looks better on the kids. After pizza, cake and ice cream we headed off to Nickelcade. I have never been to a Nickelcade, but I always remember my brothers loving that place with they were younger. Since going to the movies and the kids seeing the games they always want to stay and play, so we figured Nickelcade would be a good place to go. We headed to the one in Sandy and WOW you can tell how much that place has aged, but it was a lot of fun.

Abi and I played air hockey, skee ball, and other games while Jack band Jeremy played shooting and driving games.

Our Nickels...

As fast as it was going through our nickels the kids didn't want to leave, we will have to go back.

Copperton Park

It was such a nice day today that the kids and I decided to head over to Copperton Park for some fun in the sun. While we were there Jack found a little friend which in the end we found out that he lives close by and will be attending the new charter school that they are building in our neighborhood.

With big tires to climb on or through, to swings that get your heart skipping beats, to a couple of fun slides to race down, overall it was a fun day.

A fun filled Saturday

Today we decided to take the kids to see Mr. Peabody and Sherman. After drinks, popcorn and a potty stop, we barely made it just in time for the movie. Overall the movie was cute, Jack and Abi really enjoyed it.

After the movie, Abigail spotted Olaf and HAD to get a picture with him -

Jack then saw a poster with the head cut out and had to get his picture taken -

We the headed to West Jordan Park where due to the beautiful day it was packed, but we had fun anyway.

After playing at the park, as we headed home, we stopped and picked up some Costa Vida, made a Holiday run and watched a movie. Love spending these days with each other.

A sad farewell

One of my best friends for over 16 years is moving to Washington State. Before the C family headed onto their next big adventure we all met for breakfast until the next time we see them.

To the C Family, you will truly be missed, but we can't wait to come and visit. See you soon.
