Riley's Baptism

Today was Riley's baptism. Grandpa H, Jeremy and I and the kids headed to the Stake Center in Saratoga Springs for the big event. Since it was a Stake event, there were a lot of people to see their kids, nephews, nieces, grand kids to be baptized. There ended up being 12 kids being baptized which is awesome and poor Riley was near to the end of the list.

After Riley was dunked under the water he came up and shared that the water was cold. Once the whole baptism program was over we headed over to Landon and Cristy's for a little lunch. It was a nice afternoon hanging out with family, chatting, eating, being lazy. Most of the guest left, however the Heinrichs clan mainly hung to downstairs in the new finished basement.

Later in the evening Grandpa H, Brooke, Logan and I decided to head out to get some drinks and the waffle Love truck was going to be in Saratoga Springs. So we got four waffles. I introduced the waffle Love truck to Brooke and Logan and Landon and Cristy and Cristy's parents. Everyone LOVED the waffles.

We stayed a little longer until about 10ish or so and then we decided to head home. It was a great fun Day. Congrats Riley on your awesome accomplishment!

A Date with Cousins

My nephew got baptized today. So for this special occasion some long lost cousins found their way to Salt Lake to see everyone. We had a sleep over with my nieces Kylie, Sadie and Brynlie.

We headed to Subway and picked up some sandwhiches for our little picnic at the West Jordan Park.

After we headed back to our house for some relaxation, which then I had to take them over to Jason & Tawnie's. So while I hung out the kids enjoyed jumping on the tramp with all of the cousins.

I took my kids home for some dinner and to get ready for my nephew's baptism. After the beautiful ceremony we headed outside for an all cousin plus grandparents shoot.

Such a fun event and evening. It was just a little sad saying goodbye to the cousins that live down south.

St. George Trip

My niece who lives in St George was going to be baptised. So after some finagling I was able to hitch a ride with my Sister-In-Law and head down to the sun city of Utah.

We left Thursday night, missing the kids' first soccer practice. We made it to the "Nut House" around eleven or midnight, unpacked the car, watched a little TV, then  headed to bed.

Friday morning we decided to get up, have some breakfast and then head out to hike Zion's National Park.

To get to the hikes we had to get on a bus and they would drop us off at the certain hikes. Jennifer was our guide.

Our first stop/hike was the Upper Emerald Pool which is 3 miles roundtrip.

The next stop/hike was the Weeping Rock. This hike is 1/2 a mile round trip.

Bubba relazing for a few minutes.

The last stop/hike was the Riverside Walk. This hike was the most peaceful, easy hike of the day. This hike is 2 miles round trip.

By the end of the day, this little girl was tired. We stopped in Hurricane to Wendy's,then headed back to the nut house. It was a really fun, but tiring day.

Saturday was Sadie's baptism. We all woke up early, got ready, and headed into St George. The ceremony was nice as well as the speakers.

After the baptism, we headed to Aspen's to change then headed to a beautiful park with a splash pad. It was really nice seeing the girls and getting caught up on how everyone was doing. We spent the rest of the day with cousins and headed back to the nut house about 9pm. What a tiring day.

Sunday came and I was anxious to get back home to see my hubby and cute kiddos. Getting home would not come fast enough. Finally we headed home around 2:30 and made it by 8 with a few stops here and there.

Although it was a quick trip it was a really fun trip. Spending time with Tawnie, Jason and their kids, as well as Jennifer. Then seeing Aspen and her girls. Next time Jeremy and the kids will have to come with.
