Today was Jack & Abi's last soccer game. They played on a really good team which consisted of three really good players. Over the course of the season we could see a boost of confidence in Abi. Playing more defensively and going after the ball. Jack on the other hand, played the same as he always had, being the cheerleader. We love watching them play and they both play well. Next year I think we will change it up, picking some different sports.

Soccer Season 2015
A new soccer season begins and Jack and Abi can't be more excited. They are called the Black Dragons this year.
So far Abi has really shown determination on getting in there and trying to get the ball. Jack on the other hand will be the cheerleader, help assist and gracefully leap across the field.

Soccer 2014
Soccer 2014 has started. However this year is going to go by quick. Their games are on Saturdays and Mondays, sour sure keeping us busy. This year the team name picked was "The Minions" but the four girls on the team choose "The Frozen Minions."
Jack and Abi played really well this year I fact both scoring at least one goal. We are so proud of them at at the sports that they are trying and figuring out what they really want to play down the road.

A Goal
A make up game for Jack and Abi was scheduled. So to the park we went. Not everyone on the team showed up so all of the kids that came HAD to play, which meant that Jack and Abi would HAVE to play regardless if they wanted to or not. At first we weren't sure if we would be having a coach, but as we were getting ready to play the coach showed.
Abi went in strong and ready to play as we practiced that last that last Thursday. Abi got in there stole the ball and was kicking it toward the goal when a little boy came and stole it away from her. She stopped dead in her tracks and started crying. We tried to console her but her little heart was broken as the ball was stolen from her. The other team were shark attackers because they were getting goal after goal after goal. After Abi trying her best then having the ball stolen from her, I headed onto the field and helped her.
While holding her had I was coaching and leading her around trying to help her really get into the game. Also to let her know it was okay if the ball was stolen that we could try again.
The other team had kicked the ball out of bounds so we were in front of the ball and ready to strike. The little player kicked the ball in and I guided Abi to attack the ball (while I was holding her hand). She guided the ball towards the goal and kicked it in. YEAH!!! She made a goal (with the help of a retired soccer player, ME). Since we were helping Abi, Jack felt as though we needed to help him. So I tried helping him and Jack got the ball really close to the goal, but the hard kick he gave it had it go out of bounds.
As Jeremy and I were out on the field, yes we were guiding our little wons, other parents started to help their distracted little three and four year olds. At first I felt bad for the other team, but in the end I didn't as they were kicking our butts with adults on the field.
All in all it was quite a fun game. We have four games left, we will be glad when this season is over.

Soccer 2013
Last year Jeremy and I and the kids attending one of their cousin's soccer games. In the end they didn't have enough kids toplay so Jack got to sub and he loved every minute of it. So this year we decided to sign them up and see if they would enjoy the sport.
Their first game was the 20th, but it got cancelled due to rain. Thier second game was the 27th. They played really well. Jack mainly played the whole game and in the end Abi was just tired. Neither one scored any goals, but they tried thier hardest and just focused on running after the ball. Towards the end of the game, Jack lost focus and started playing with his shirt and just following where the big group of kids were.
