Hally was laid down to rest today after breaking her hip yesterday. She joined our family in September of 2003. She was rescued by friends who saw her be tossed into a box at a McDonalds and the people drove off. She was then taken to the friends house where they went in search of someone to adopt this precious puppy.
I remember telling Jeremy about her and so we decided to check her out. I arrived at our friends house first and new as soon as I saw her that we would not be leaving without her.
That night we brought her home.
We thought that she was going to be a full grown Boxer, but as she started to grow her long torso and her long legs told us that she was a mix. Regardless of being a mix she was a very fun, playful and fast dog. She was a gentle soul who has always thought that she was still a puppy, finding the right time to jump onto the couch and sit in your lap.
We have enjoyed the years that Hally has given us and she will be missed.
She will be joining her sister Sparky in Heaven.
We love you Hally and will think of you often. We know that your other sister Daisy will miss you as well and won't know what to do without you or who to torment.
We LOVE you and will see you again!
