For the longest time Jeremy has wanted to see the KING himself that he was tempted last year to buy tickets for BB’s Concert in Deer Valley, he never did. So I heard BB King was coming to Salt Lake and was going to play at Kingsbury Hall. So I buckled down and I bought Jeremy tickets to see BB King for Christmas.
Last night was his concert. For the opening act they had Willie Nelson’s son and his band (which we didn’t know he was Willie Nelson’s son until BB King said something at the very end) anyway as they were getting ready to play the next song, he helped someone propose to his girlfriend, it was really funny.
It was amazing. BB King is such an awesome performer. He is 83 years old and plays his guitar named Lucille. He tells funny stories and gets embarrassed easily. But he can for sure play his guitar. At the end of his concert he asked the audience if he could come back next year, the whole crowd answered back “YES”. If he comes again, I strongly recommend seeing him.
