Cambria is a small tourist town where you can hear the ocean from the balcony of the Beach House. It was built in the 70's which makes it somewhat of an antique, the green appliances, carpet and anything else you can imagine.
When we would visit Cambria we would also make our way 15 minutes north to San Simeon which a Dream of a Dream was built through the eyes for William Randolph Hearst, Hearst Castle. Everytime we would make our trip to Calfornia, then Cambria we would always make time to go through this Dream of a Dream a man decided to build after his mother died in 1919.
Its an amazing place to go and see and I love going there when we visit Cambria. It was actually there in May of 2000 that my dad met his wife, Christine. She was our tour guide and of course my dad who can NEVER give anyone a hard time, she was able to put up with his crazy tactics. In December 2003 they were married in San Diego.
Dad and Christine were living in Madison, Wisconsin and about a year ago moved into my grandfathers beach house making that home their permanent residence. They were invited to be actors on a few special tours of what it was like back in the 1920's when William Randolph Hearst would invite movie stars on the "A" list to his home and spend the weekend. Here they are in their few minutes of fame.
Nice Job guys. You know I am really jealous!! Can't wait to see both of you in May. Love You!
