August 2, 2008 the same night as my sleep over with my nieces and nephew the last book of the Twilight series "Breaking Dawn"
was coming out at midnight. So earlier that day I decided to wait in line and get wristbands for the midnight outing. I made it to Barnes and Noble at 8:20 am and got my wristbands by 10:40 am. People had slept over and when I got there the line ended at the Dress Barn.

People had slept over and when I got there the line ended at the Dress Barn. So once we got the kids settled I grabbed a few girls on my street Annette, Noel, and Heather and headed down to Barnes and Noble for the big debut. For the release party Barnes and Noble mentioned on their website for people to wear their Prom Wear. Of course us girls decided NOT to wear prom wear. However after we parked, and started to head toward Barnes and Noble about 80% of people were wearing prom dresses and we even saw a couple girls actually wearing their wedding dresses. As crazy as it was , it was hilarious to see the obsessed people dressed up just for this book.
I read the book in a week, and everyone was giving me grief that I hadn't finished the book earlier, however I really enjoyed the book and I feel that it was a great ending to a great story.

Larky, don't feel bad, it took me a week to read it too. I have a friend out here who read all four books in the series in 5 days. Needless to say, I had her hooked. I liked the book but I thought a fight with the Volturi would have been much more exciting. otherwise I loved it too. And a friend and I went to a release party here in Virginia and you should have seen some of the scantily clad tweens in prom style dresses! Yikes! We felt so lame, I think we were the only adults there who didn't just bring the teens.
