Babysitting

You know when you get to that age of 12 or 13 you know that you will start making money and that you are now more responsible than you ever have been. You are able to watch the neighbors kids and be in charge.

I remember those days when I was the babysitter for a lot of families in my ward in Sandy. There were families that I loved to babysit and other families that well it was okay. However being older in a family and especially when you don't have kids of your own, you are excited to be asked to spend time with your nieces and nephews.

Tawnie asked Jeremy and I to babysit her kids for her and Jason's 9th Wedding Anniversary. So Madison, Little Jason and Tyler came over. We had fun. For dinner we had cereal - because that is the breakfast of champions, then we decided to go outside and enjoy the front yard. While all of the other kids were riding their bikes - Jason and Madie wanted to ride theirs. I guess next time we will have to make sure that we have some of their outdoor things that they can ride or play with. Anyway, since we don't have a lot for the kids to play with, Jeremy was cleaning out the garage and breaking down boxes - So Jason and Madie decided to play with those.

So once they were done playing with the boxes they decided to play in our huge sand box park strip. Jeremy tore out our park strip to do a desert landscape (save on water) we plan on putting pavers down but they are expensive so we are doing it on row at a time. As for right now we have sand and gravel in our park strip just waiting for the pavers to go in. So for right now all of the neighborhood kids love to play in our sand park strip.

In the mean time since they were having fun, I was watching them but hanging out with the new kid in the family - Tyler. He is such a happy baby and just likes to try to go every where.

I love having my nieces and nephews around and I can't wait until Jeremy and I have a little one of our own - just so we can pawn them off on everyone who has asked us to watch their kids. Watch out Tawnie. Just kidding.
