Hoover DAMN!

I was looking through our computer and came across our pictures of Hoover Dam when we went down in October. I am sure things have changed since then, but I thought I would share since I haven't added anything new to my blog.

So I don't know if anyone has been to Hoover Dam lately, but they are creating a huge bridge that goes over the dam. Jeremy and I went down to Vegas in hopes of seeing my Super Star Singer of all time Celine Dion - Stupid ho cancelled her show and I was really bumbed. So one of the days we decided to go down and see Hover Dam and here are some of the pictures that we took. Enjoy:

Here is part opf the bridge they are building so that people don't have to drive the windy road down and across the dam.

Here is the other side. Here is a picture for both sides. Now does your body just get the heepy jeepbies?

We also went on a tour of the Dam and that was cool.

Here we are going through a concrete tunnel I can't remember where exactly we were going.

This is the map of the Hoover Dam. It shows where all the water is pumped out to and they talked about how they had to add more pumps to the dam and how they did that. I can't remember everything they said, but it was really neat.

This is inside the room of the generators. They said that they support power to Nevada however most of it is to support California. It was amazing. Any way I would totally suggest anyone that when they go down to Nevada to visit Hoover Dam and go on the underground tour.
