Our Wedding

Its really funny, but Tawnie started this and she had all of her pictures and everything, so then Aspen got hers done and now here I am. But the crazy thing is Tawnie and Jason got married first August of '99, then Aspen and Jared May of '00 and then Jeremy and I June of '00. Funny how things work. I hope you enjoy.

1. What day did you get engaged? December 4, 1999

2. How did he propose?

Pre Proposal: There was a double date that Jeremy and I went on with Jared and Aspen. We decided to go down to Temple Square. We ended up being on the South side of the Temple by the fountain. I asked Jeremy "If you could do anything in this moment, what would it be?" He just sat there, didn't say anything. Come to find out he wanted to kiss me, but didn't have the guts so we had to talk about it on the way back to my house.

Proposal: He wanted to take me to see christmas lights. So we went down to Temple Square. We ended up being on the South side (sound familiar) of the Temple by the fountain. As we were standing there (I was standing on the wall of the fountain, Jeremy was standing on the ground), I asked Jeremy "If you could do anything in this moment, what would it be?" He paused and then said, "Well I have already kissed you, so I guess the next thing would be is to ask you to marry me?" I sat there, didn't say anything. Finally Jeremy said, "Well?" I turned my face toward him and looked down, and sure enough there was the ring. I said "Yes."

3. Did you have a bacheloret party? I guess you could say having my 4 bridesmaids sleeping over at our apartment (Jeremy slept over at his brother's house) eating food, staying up late and watching Runaway Bride would be a fun bacheloret party.

4. What did you do at your bridal shower? I had two bridal showers and the one I had at my second mom's house (Jessica Hook) we played "Do you know the groom" game where Jessica (my second mom) had asked Jeremy questions and I had to guess the right answer, if I got the answer wrong I had to put a piece of Bubble Gum in my mouth - although I got a few questions right lets just say my jaw really hurt afterwards.

At my second one (Lauren threw it) we hung out at her house, chit chatted and ate food - it was really nice.

5. What is your wedding date? June 21

6. Where did you get married? Jeremy and I got married at the Cottonwood Country Club.

7. What preparation's did you make to get ready for the big day? My bridesmaids and I went and got our Nails and Toes done, then heaed down to the Country Club where my Hairdresser (Cary) was waiting and did our hair while we watched The Real World. However my mom and family worked their guts out, to make my day so special and memorable. My mom worked up to the very last minute until she finally had to come down and get her hair done.

Thanks Mom and Dad for a wonderful, unforgetful day!

8. How many Bridesmaids did you have? 4 - My sister in law - Jennifer (who looked amazing), My cousin - Shantae, and my two Best Friends - Laurie and Lauren.

9. How many Groomsmen did you have? 4 - My two brother in laws - Jason and Jared, and my two brothers - Landon and Logan.

10. Describe your wedding day - It was a Wednesday. A few clouds in the sky, but it was going to be very warm. The ceremony was held in the evening with the reception to follow. The deck was decorated with bouquetts of daisies in the bouqettes were flowers that matched my colors - yellow, blue, lilac, and pink. After the ceremony, tables were set up which had a centerpiece if an ivy plant in a terra cotta pot and in the middle a stock of daisies standing in the center of the ivy plant. The evening became very warm infact during the ceremony I felt as though my makeup was running down my face. However during the reception it became very nice.

11. Where did you go on your Honeymoon? Our Wedding night we stayed at Little America then flew out the next morning to Vegas. In Vegas we stayed at Treasure Island where we met up with some friends - Brian, Mikey, JJ Jensen, and Angie. We stayed in Vegas for 3 days then flew to California where we went on a 4 day Mexican-Baja Cruise.

12. Anything you would of changed? It's funny, when I go to weddings I think I would have liked that, or I should have done that, but writting this and looking back, I wouldn't change anything, because it was perfect and memorable and I wish I could go back in time and relive it.

13. Did you cry? I didn't cry until Jeremy and I got into the Limo which then took us to Little America - when both of us were in the Limo we both broke down and cried and held each other.
