As sad as it is the last time Jeremy and I went to the temple was to get sealed to Jack and that was November 2009. We totally and completely slacked off in 2010. Well no more I am putting my foot down and Jeremy and I have decided to make it a monthly goal to go to the temple.
January - we decided to go to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple, since it is only 10-15 minutes from our house (how pathetic). We found a babysitter for the kids and ended up doing Initatories. It was nice, peaceful and quick. Next month I would like to do either an endowment session or baptisms for the dead - which if anyone had heard that Oquirrh Mountain Temple only reserves Baptisms for the dead for the youth, it not true. You do have to make a resevation, but anyone is welcome to do it. It has been since I was in Young Women's since I have done baptisms for the dead.

I SOOOO wish we lived closer and we would go with you. We don't get to go very often either. Don't have anyone to watch our kiddo's so its hard to get there! I need to make this a goal for us as well :)
I would love to join you. The closest temple out here is 2.5 hours to D.C. The traffic,however, makes it about 3 hours there, and 4-6 hours back, depending on if traffic is just bad or truly horrific. So, don't feel bad. I'ts been a while for us too. Especially since we have literally no family out here, and nobody we want to leave the kiddo's with for a minimum of 9 hours. Boo-hoo. :) I'm glad you guys were able to go. We miss you guys.
