Family Day at Gateway

As busy as our lives have been, it not very often when we slow down and actually spend a day together. Especially since Jeremy works at the post office at nights and has to leave at 4:45 to get to work by 5:30. But this Saturday we slowed down a little bit and had some fun. Instead of staying at home and cleaning the house (which we should have, because our house has kind of been neglected) we decided to pack up the kids and go downtown to Gateway.

We decided to just walk around and so we parked, unloaded the stroller and walked around. Walking lead us to the fountains on the north end of the mall and Jeremy and I wondered what Jack would think of the fountains.

Here is Dad leading Jack into the fountains.

Maybe next year we will do this again and Jack might enjoy it a little bit more. After the fountains we decided to head back to the south end of the mall and eat at AppleBee's.

As we were waiting for our server Abi just couldn't wait and started eating the table.

While Abi was eating the table, we were trying to entertain Jack.

At the end, we enjoyed going out as a family and having fun. We are excited to continue doing things as a family.
