14 Months

Running, screaming, yelling, laughing, curious and independent all roll into what Jack is about right now. He walks but mostly runs. He screams, yells, screams some more than laugh quite often. He has to check everything out and of course see how it works a thousand times, and always has to do things on his terms and his way. He loves the dogs especially Sparky, since she doesn't have any teeth he can go up to her and pull her fluffy hair out and she can't bite him. He loves using Hally as a speed bump and will just crawl over her if she gets in his way. Daisy on the other hand he loves to torture and we especially love him for that because she has tortured us for the last four or five years that we have had her.

Jack loves to figure things out and he tends to get frustrated easily. He has to have things that he sees immediately and if he doesn't the screaming starts. He has started going to time out (which is his crib) and that has been working. Jack loves to be outdoors and love to help his dad in the yard. The other day I let him roam in the backyard and the next thing I see he has Jeremy's hand shovel and he's walking around using it as his type of cane.

The other day I was finishing up giving Abi and bath and I started hear this king of bang against a wall. So I finish getting Abi dressed and head out to the family room where I find MR Jack in the swing with the lap bar down just enjoying himself. If that is not determination I don't know what is.

Jack is such and happy kid. He definitely keeps us on our toes. He makes us laugh, and we don't know what our lives would have been with out him. We are so grateful to have him in our family and we have waited a very long time for him.
