So as long as I can remember my mom's side of the family tries to get together and do a reunion. I think it mainly started when I was young and we would go on these outrageous camping trips when we were able to watch a rodeo, be chased by bears, get hit by branches as you are riding horses on a trail and all you can see are the sparks from the hooves of the horses hitting the rocks on the trails, to a cousin almost drowing, to a horse thinking he needs to get warm by the fire because his tail was pulled right off and he can't swat the flies away. We have gone to the Grand Canyon, hunted turantulas in the dessert (well the boys did, I think the girls went to the mall). In 1997 we went on a cruise which was fun, then in 2007 we did a mock version of the Amazing Race, and finally for this year we did "Win it in a Minute" which comes from the game show "Minute to Win It". We had it at my mom's club house. The pictures that I have we are hanging out waiting toget our pictures done. If you go onto Logan and Brooke's blogspot or Landon and Cristy's blogspot you will get to see the games in action.
It's been mentioned that future reunions will only be for the brothers and sisters, and if so I guess us cousins have our work cut out for us.But on behalf of everyone - Thank you to everyone for coming down and having fun and Thank you to Jerilyn for organizing and putting everything together and Thank you mom for allowing us to use your house and your club house to make this reunion fun.
