10 Years and Counting...

10 Years ago, Jeremy and I were married. It was such a hot, beautiful, fun day that every now and again it replays in my mind. Its really interesting to see where we were 10 years ago to now and how things have changed, how technology has developed, that we started our lives living in an apartment, now living in a beautiful home with 2 beautiful kids which are under a year and a half.

Each year for our annivesary (before the kids came into the picture) Jeremy and I decided that we would rotate years - he would do the odd and I would do the even years. Well last year we got Jack so we went to Olive Garden while Jack got to hang out with Grandma Heinrichs. This year since it was one of our big milestones I figured we would do something a little grand.

I booked us a room at the Grand American Hotel down town.

I arranged for Grandma Heinrichs to come over and spend the night with Jack and Abi and Jeremy and I would spend the night on the town. Around 3:15 Jeremy and I headed off to our Anniversary/Father's Day celebration. I decided to take him to see Toy Story 3, if you haven't seen it you should, because it is really cute and fun. After the movie we headed to the Grand...

Here is our door with a doorbell, very fancy.

Our Room Number, which means we are very high...

The King Suite

The Suite Bathroom, nice and cozy.

The Shower

The Bath Tub

The Pool looking down from 22 stories high

Jeremy finding Bird Poop

After checking out the room we went swimming. After swimming we arrive back to our room to have waiting for us but Sparkling Lemonade and Tuxedo Chocolate covered Strawberries...Yum, Yum

The next day I decided to treat Jeremy to the Sunday Brunch at The Grand, so here we are getting ready to head down stairs.

It was such a fun get away, we truly missed the kids back home and were glad to see them, but our little get away was needed.

Happy 10 Year Anniversary and Father's Day, Jeremy, we love you!
