So since my grandparents passed away, my mom and her siblings have been trying to keep up the tradition of getting together for our christmas party. A few years back they introduced Bonco at our Hone Family Christmas Party. We play a dice game for about an hour and a half and then the person with the most naturals (it can either be a roll of 3 6's or counting up to 21 by your self) will win the pot of money ($5.00 each of who plays). Then we do a present exchange starting with the person with the least amount of points. The present can be stolen 3 times and when it gets to the person who has the most points they can choose any present even if it was stolen.
This year everyone got together except for Brett Hone's family, maybe next year, but the funniest part was seeing my two cousins, who are from Phoenix, wanting to go hookibobbing through the snow.
