Disneyland 2015: Day 4

Today we headed to Disneyland Park. Yikes it was crowded. Apparently NO ONE was worried about the Measles outbreak. We HAD to start back at Disneyland Park because Jack REALLY wanted to be in the Jedi Training.

Of course we HAD to get another picture with Minnie.

Then it was off to Jedi Training. We arrived about a half hour before it started and waited. We had to be in the front so we could make sure Jack got picked. The audience area started to fill up and we were in the perfect spot.

The Jedi training started and Jack and Abi started jumping up and down, waiving their arms and yelling "Pick Me!" The Jedi Master scanned the audience and then started choosing kids to go up onto the stage. One by one kids were getting called we chose kids in our section then moved to the middle and then the far side coming back toward us. Jeremy and I started to get nervous as our kids (or at least Jack hadn't been called). Then all of a sudden Abi got picked. We waited in anticipation on if Jack's name would be called. Jack was jumping up and down, waiving his arms and yelling pick me, pick me. I even started pointing at Jack and yelling Please, please, please and finally Jack was called AND he was the LAST kids to get picked. PHEW!! My adrenaline was pumping.

Both Jack and Abi were last in the line and and they ended up in the same line to fight Darth Vader, however Miss Abi had to fight Darth Maul and so she asked if she could be in the other line and they let her.

In this group Jedi training picture Jack and Abi are on opposite ends of the group.

We decided to calm ourselves by heading over to the Haunted Mansion. After the ride there was a Photo Pass employee and so we had our picture taken.

Looks like we picked up a few hitch hikers!!

As we headed back to Fantasy Faire, Cinderella was meeting princesses in the Royal Hall.

There was also Belle...

And Snow White

Of course after meeting them we HAD to get in line to meet Merida.

It was so crowded in Disneyland Park that the wait for Pirates was 60 minutes. So we decided to head over to California for one last hooraw. There we ran into Pluto and Goofy. While we were waiting they mentioned that Goofy would be leaving to do his show and as we were slightly bummed he ended up leaving after our photo shoot with him.

The kids were tired, the parents were tired. We were deciding what we should do when a couple approached us and asked if we were leaving. We said not sure and then they offered this any attraction Fast Pass for up to 6 people.

We needed to check out one more thing before we were done and that was the FROZEN FUN!! They had music playing, employees dancing and trying to get the audience involved. The one thing we ended up noticing was the GIANT Snow Monster from Frozen and we HAD to get our picture taken with him.

After the picture with the snow monster, Abi noticed air hockey tables. Jeremy REALLY wanted to ride Tower of Terror, but having Abi go on it was not going to happen. So Abi and I got a Frozen Glow Drink, some tokens and played frozen air hockey while the boys headed for Tower of Terror.

In the end they didn't get a picture because it wasn't Disney Approved. Oh well, next time.

By the end of the day we were dragging our feet and our bodies home to our hotel.
