I love this time of year when everyone decorates in twinkling lights, however no one does it better than Temple Square. Usually we are bundling up to see the awesome lights but due to our mild winter we were able to enjoy the twinkling lights with a light breeze and a little sprinkling of rain. We started at City Creek.
Before walking the shops the water and fire show was starting so we had to watch and we had a few admirers.
Finally meeting up with The eat of the group we got separated but made our way over the famous Joseph Memorial Building. On the way to the lobby, Santa, Buddy the Elf and some elves were saying hi, so the kids had to get their picture taken.
We all finally made it to the lobby of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building to see the famous lobby tree.
Now it was off to see Temple Squares Twinkling Christmas Lights.
I love to see the temple especially decorated with the beautiful lights.
Brooke and I being silly.
A precious moment, looking through the eyes of a child.
We kind of got separated from our group, so we took a break to get warm and rest in the Tabernacle. As luck would have it they were live streaming the Mormon Tabernacle Christmas Program from the conference center and we were able to watch a little bit of it. Watching the program brought a smile to my face as well a my kids especially seeing the choir sing with the Sesame Street characters as well as Santino Fontana who does the voice in Frozen as Hans.
Thank you to all who were able to come. A perfect ending picture for a perfect fun evening. We had a great time.
