Me and my Good Friend Diana
We started on the basics. How to hold a knife, how to cut the veggies, the meat and I took LOTS of notes.
The first roll we made was a basic roll, which if you know how to make it you can pretty much make any roll, at least that is what our teacher said.
After adding the the rice on the dull side of the sea weed wrap, we flipped it over and added a crab mix along with our Julianne chopped cucumbers and avocado. Now to start the rolling process.
Look at that perfectly rolled roll.
We then made a plain basic roll with rice on the inside along with crab mix, and cucumbers.
Not my favorite. Then onto our creativeness. We were able to make two of our own. Our teacher had Tuna, Salmon, Lemon, Avacado, Albacore Tuna, Sesame seeds, and a Tuna and Onion mix.
My rolled contained, rice on the outside, with crab, tuna, Avacado and cucumbers inside with lemon zest on top. Delicious!
Eating one of my not so favorite roll even though I added a few things to spice it up. Maybe it's the sea weed on the outside.
At the end of the class we got our picture taken with the teacher who has been making sushi for 20 years and who invented the MARS rolls. She was rally nice and fun to have a our instructor! Such a great day.
