A hike up to Cecret Lake

Jeremy got a hiking bug, so we decided to act on it and go up Little Cottonwood Canyon for a little hike. Little did we know it would turn into about a 5.2 mile hike. We started at the base of the mountain and worked our way up to the lake.

The wild flowers were gorgeous and the just kept on going.

Poor Abi got tired petty quickly and wanted to go home. We kept on trekking.

Finally we made it to the actual trail head only a mile more to go.

These two were getting their picture taken all day and didn't mind at all as you could see.

Cecret Lake, we finally made it!

After spending some time at the lake which was pretty busy it was now time to head home. After the few miles back and making it to the car we had tired bodies, tired feet and tired everything. We made it home, climbed into the house, showered and had a quite rest of the evening.

 

I think our next hike will be Ensign Peak.
