A Fall Picnic

The kids had been bugging me about going on a picnic; so on one nice sunny but windy day, the kids and I decided to head a little north to an old park that Jeremy and I used to live by. We packed sandwiches with string cheese and stopped by Holiday for some chips and drinks. Last Christmas, mom made me a nice big blanket so we brought that along to sit on while we ate our lunch. It was a fun afternoon sitting out, enjoying the sun while the wind kept us cool, and looking across the valley while watching the kids play on the play set.
