Fourth of July 2012

For the Fourth of July, Jeremy had to work. So while he was at work, the kids and I headed to the park to enjoy some outside time and sun. The kids wanted to go the long way to the school park and we weren't even close, when they decided they were done. After arguing and not wanting to ride scooters anymore we finally made it to the park. We found some shade and cooled off for a little while. As we were hanging out we found a lady bug. We then decided to head to the park and play. We didn't stay very long, because it was so dang hot. The slide, swings anything NOT covered in shade burned. So we made it back to our shade, then made it home. We cooled off, took little naps then got ready to head to mom's.

We decided to do a little BBQ at mom's with Corn on the Cob, BBQ Chicken and a Salad with Olive Garden Dressing. The food was delicious, the kids loved their little table and chairs. After dinner we changed into our suits and headed for the pool.

My kids could live in the water. They love to swim and swimming they do. They get braver each time we spend in the water. After swimming we headed back to Mom's and lit sparklers. Abi was all over the lighting wands, but Jack didn't want to have anything to do with them. After all the sparklers were burned we headed home.

As we were heading home were by West Jordan Park and they had started doing their firework show. So we pulled over and watched the awesome fireworks explode in the sky.
