Memorial Day 2012

This long weekend wasn't anything special. It was pretty much a lazy weekend, which I don't mind, especially having two little ones, working, between Jeremy and I we love being lazy around the house with the two little kids, but now that they are on the move I want to go do stuff with them too. Friday Night - Jeremy made dinner, baked potatoes, steak and artichokes. We hung out with the kids and then watched a movie. Saturday - I helped out my work with working drive up. When I used to have to work drive up on Saturday's I remember that my favorite time is when it is stormy outside - so I got to watch the rain storm go through the valley while I worked. After getting home we were all pretty tired so we all tried to take a nap. Then we hung out some more on the couch and watched a movie. Sunday - Jeremy went to church to teach his class. Jack had been having stomach issues for the last few days so we have been fighting with that. Jack and Abigail both took naps which was nice to have some quiet time. Jeremy headed to work so it was me and the kids. We watched Megamind, Madagascar, Cars 2, you name it we probably watched it. The kids fell asleep late and I didn't fall asleep until later. Monday - Abigail woke up at 7:30 (naughty girl) we hung out around the house for the first few hours. I called my Dad to wish him a Happy Birthday. The we headed out on to our Memorial Day Adventure.

We first headed to SugarHouse to test and see how the kids would handle an acutal movie. So we went to Movies 10 and went to see Dr. Suess' The Lorax.

Waiting in line to get some movie treats

Got our drink and popcorn we are ready to go.

Jeremy and I were suprised for one it was packed infact I think it ended up being sold out. We found two seats near the front and the kids had to sit on our laps. Jack was mezmorized through the whole movie. Abigail fell asleep during the movie. The Lorax was a big success, which we are excited for June because Madagascar 3 comes out, wish us luck.

After the movie we picked up some Wendy's and headed to SugarHouse Park for relaxing in the sun.

We decided to feed the birds and ducks. The kids had a blast trying to feed and chase the birds and ducks everywhere.
