A Wedding, A Fair and Fortune Telling...

For Labor Day weekend my mom and I headed up to Idaho for my cousin Weston's Wedding. The wedding and reception was located in Arco, ID which is west of Blackfoot. So on Saturday we headed up making really good time. As we drove down the main street of this small town mom reminisced of when she was growing up and would come into Arco to hang out with friends. When we arrived to where the wedding and reception was going to be held we were almost literally blown away. It was really windy, however the bride's house had a beautiful yard which was set up with chairs for the ceremony and off to the right tables and chairs for the dinner/reception.

So as we were heading back home we decided to stop at the Eastern Idaho State Fair. When my brothers and I were growing up every year we would head to Idaho get together with my cousins and head to the Fair - yes we knew that Utah had a fair but you couldn't miss the Eastern Idaho State Fair. We loved watching Miss Idaho Pageant, Hypnotist, the petting zoo, and don't forget the horse races especially the Indian Relay Races.

Once we arrived at the fair we met up with Brooke and Logan as we were just walking around seeing what the fair had to offer we ran into a hat stand -

need I say more...

Coming to the Idaho fair they are known for the Tiger Ears - mainly scones but with cinnamon and sugar on top and all over yum, yum.

Of course you also have to love the food, we found a carmel apple stand so we shared and it was just enough.

Being at the fair you can only imagine all the different kinds of booths, things to eat, and smell yourself getting fatter.

It was quite I treat seeing this big Turkey Leg sign and seeing people walk around like cave men eating, chewing, and between mom and I we had to share one and to this day I don't think we can figure out how people can eat one all by themselves.

The last stopin our fair adventure was seeing the Fortunteller. My mom has gone and seen Irene for the last few or so years. We figured it would be my turn and so my fortune was told.

Theme for this year: Laughter

Supposedly Jeremy and I will be getting pregnant with our third child she says around January/February - however my mom has shared that her timing is usually off. Of the rest that she shared I can't remember because I was pretty shocked and almost shed tears of stress and I don't know if we could have another one so close - we shall see.
