Baptism, Sealing & Blessing

On December 5, 2009 we woke up early to get ready for our nieces baptism. She turned eight on November 20 and was able to make the decision and become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I of coarse was a wreck due to our aother engagement later that day.

It was so special seeing her dressed in her white outfit to be dunked under water by her dad. It only made me think back to when I was baptised and I had the choice to either do my baptism in the font or on one of the Hones Camping Trips. I opted to be different and since Jesus was baptised in a river I figured a lake would be close enough. So on one of our wild and outrageous camping trips my dad baptised me in a lake. I remember a few bits and pieces of that day and I remember it had been raining all day, so as soon as the clouds parted and the sun came out for the short brief moment, we figured this was it. My dad and I got all dressed in our white outfits and we headed to the merky freezing cold water. I dug my feet into the mud just to make sure that no part of me came up. It was a really neat experience and I wouldn't trade that for anything.

Later in the day we were scheduled to go to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and have Jack sealed to us for all time and eternity. I couldn't believe that we were actually able to finalize and make this happen. All of our close friends and family were there - Thank you so much to all of you for taking the time out of your schedules and supporting us in having our family searled together. We got pictures taken, however as soon as I get them I will post them.

December 6 Jeremy was able to give Jack his baby blessing. We were able to invite again close family and friends to the circle and Jeremy did an fantastic job. Jack also look very handsome in his white outfit. We are so blessed and have enjoyed every minute with Jack. He has been the most special thing that has come into our family, and I can't picture our lives without him.

Thanks for letting us be apart of all of it as well. It was the greatest spiritual experience! We love you guys and are so grateful for your friendship and for you letting us be in your lives. PS: I think Jeremy blessed him on December 6th, Not May 6th. LOL! Love ya =)
