Sleeping through the night

I know I know that babies shouldn't be sleeping on their tummies until they can roll over by themselves, but we have found that Jack loves to sleep on his tummy and if he does he will sleep through the night. I feel that if they can move and lift their head they will be fine.

He is such a peaceful sleeper.

I love it when he falls asleep on me.

Its funny when he is so tired he will fall asleep being held. He fell asleep at 9:15 pm and slept until 8:30 am.

Glad to hear he is sleeping well, because that means you are getting some sleep too! It must be so exhausting caring for a baby while you are pregnant. I hope Jeremy is taking good care of you-- no, I'm quite sure he is! As for Jack sleeping on his tummy-- my kids were always back sleepers but the books and doctors always told me that tummy sleeping is not a big deal after they are lifting and moving their heads by themselves. Your mommy instinct is right!

What a good baby! Camri didn't sleep through the night until she was 9 months old! (She was up every two hours until she was 6 months. Thats when we started letting her cry it out. Worst experience ever!! Talk about feeling like a bad parent!) Congrats to you all! I say let em' sleep on his little tummy!
