Ascent Skate Night

Jack's and soon to be Abigail's school has been doing so many fun nights and we were able to go to their Skate Night at Classic Skating. It has been forever since I have stepped foot inside those doors. I decided to watch as Jeremy strapped on his roller blades, helped the kids with their skates and off they went. They did fairly well being their first time, but after about an hour they were done and off to the bounce house section they went and spent the rest of the time.

Outside Movie

Last year Jeremy, the kids and I headed up to the Capitol Building to watch movies outside. It was so much fun but by the time you get up there, find a spot to park, find a place to put your stuff, watch the movie, clean up and head back home it was a lot of work. Jeremy came into getting a projector and all it needed done was a new bulb. So he got the new bulb, built a little make shift projector stand with a receiver and speakers, bought a screen and ta-da Movies in the Drive Way was born.

So this summer we are going to try and have some fun with it and we couldn't wait. So we decided to invite some friends over for the unveiling. We didn't pick the warmest night, but then again our weather here has been a little crazy. It was fun in the end.

I'm super excited for summer and to do this in the warm summer nights.
