The "Frozen" Birthday Party

As Abigail's birthday was quickly approaching I asked Abigail what kind of party she wanted to have and she always responded with a "Frozen" party. So after a lot of surfing and looking a "Frozen" party is what she was going to get.

I found snowflakes and party swirls and hung them through the hallway to the kitchen.

For the birthday set up table I found frozen table cloth, plates and cups. For the straws we had purple and white striped straws. We had melted snow that I filled in water bottles.

For the food we made Sven's Frozen Snack Mix, Olaf Noses (carrots), Fruit, and pinwheel sandwiches (for we finish each others sandwiches).

For the goodie bags I made Snow Dough, and Do you want to build a snowman, along with a frozen necklace and lip gloss.

Last but not least we had a frozen cake with cup cakes and served a Frozen Bar (mainly a sundae bar with waffle bowls.

Overall it was a great success. Abigail had a really good turn out by having nine little girls show up. As they arrived we crowned them and then we started the scavenger hunt. The scavenger hunt were clues from the frozen songs that you placed with things around the house. In the end it led the girls to the food and we then had our little light lunch.

Once the little princesses were full we then played pin the nose on Olaf. Then Abigail opened presents and I took a picture of her with the little girl and their present they brought for her.

We then finished with singing Happy Birthday, having a frozen cup cake and an waffle bowl frozen bar.

Thank you all who came!

Happy Birthday Abigail!!

Today is the day when my baby girl turns the big 5! I can't believe it. Five years ago our little beautiful, drama, sweet, crazy princess was born.

She headed to school taking cinnamon treats with her. After picking up Abi and Jack from school we headed over to Grandma H's. After picking up grandma we headed over to Aunt Brooke's for the festivities to begin. We drove to City Creek as that was the request of the birthday girl.

We first went to the Blue Lemon for Lunch. Delicious as always. Afterward we made our way over to Claire's for the ear piercing event.

We waited for a little while because we wanted to do both ears at once and another employee would be getting back from break. So in the mean time we looked through the store, and finally it was our turn. Thank You Brooke for taking a video of it.

In the end the ears got pierced and Abi cried more due to the shock. Once we got her to calm down we then made our way over to the Disney Store.

After spending our fun afternoon at City Creek it was time to head home to make dinner. Abigail's request for dinner was Taco's.

In the end it was a really fun day. Happy Birthday baby girl! I hope you had a fun day!!

Saturday will be the main event.

My Besties

I am so grateful to have meet and continue to know my two besties friends in the world. I met LR in Highschool and she thought I was going after her boyfriend, but in the end she found out that I had a boyfriend and we became friends.

LC I met through LR and it took a crazy, excited, police filled night for her and I to bond. Between the three of us we are the L Musketeers!

Usually after christmas the three Musketeers get together and have a christmas lunch and gift exchange.

This year for christmas was a little lonely as our bestie LC moved away. So it was quite different not having her join LR and I for annual Christmas Lunch. However I had to mentally make sure that I got her present off to her on time and from the sound of it, it arrived just before Thanksgiving.

Just like clockwork I received a gift in the mail. I waited to open the gift until christmas and when I opened it I was completely surprised as to what it was....

A blanket of pictures of my cute family. How precious and special is that. I LOVE it.

I was able to meet up with my other bestie LR and we headed to this place that serves homemade ramen noodles and those noodles were DeLiCiOuS! We ate Noodles and Sushi. After chatting we finally exchange our gifts and she got me ths beautfiul gray scarf with gold through out along with earring and a long necklace. LR always does a great job of getting me items to add to my wardrobe.

I love these two ladies so much and I am so grateful and lucky that we all became great friends. I can't ask for better sisters and my kids couldn't ask for better Aunties!

Love You Ladies, you know who you are!
