A Walk and a Flight

Since Dad came to town, Landon arranged for them to go flying. At first it was going to be Logan joining them, but he changed his mind and I was then invited to go. Little Miss Abi, couldn't bear the thought of me leaving her so she came along.

We met at Airport 2 in West Jordan where there was a little bit of miss communication. By 9:30 we got everything arranged and off we went.

We flew around the West Jordan area for about 30 minutes so we could still fit all of our other plans that we had for the rest of the day. Abi loved the way the plane made her tummy tickle, but after about 15 minutes she was done and ready to go home.

After flying Dad, Landon and I we went our separate ways to then meet up again at Logan's to head up Big Cottonwood Canyon and walk around Silver Lake.

We we were rounding the last part of the trail to go back on the walkway we ran in our neighbor and her two adorable kids. They had been camping up in Big Cottonwood Canyon.

A Baby Blessing

My brother and Sister in June had a cute little baby girl who they named Zury. Today we celebrate her being blessed by her Dad, Landon. Jeremy, the Kids and I headed to their church for this special service. Afterwards we headed over to their church pavilion where we had Shredded Pork Sandwhiches, Fruit Salad, Watermelon, Chips, Baked Beans and Desserts galore, especially delicious Brownies that my other brother Logan made.

Congratulation Zury on your Baby Blessing.

August 2013

The Summer came and went like a strong breeze. The kids and I enjoyed so much of this summer. Playing at Seven Peaks, Hanging out at Parks, Swimming at Blackridge Reservoir, I guess at some point the summer fun had to come to an end. So here we are ending August and starting Preschool.

Jack and Abigail you brighten my day. You both make me laugh and we continue on working together to stop the fighting as well bugging each other. I am so excited to see what this year will bring with both of you attending Preschool, making new friends and learning. I am excited to continue to work with both of you in your progressing studies as well as working with you to both start reading.

You both make your dad and I proud and we couldn't have asked for better kids. We thank our Heavenly Father daily for the blessing be has brought us - especially the both of you!
