Breakfast and A Movie

Today Jeremy and I woke up, to not really wanting to make breakfast, so we decided we would hurry and get ready for the day and head out to get some breakfast at Kneaders then take the kids to a movie to see the Croods.

Kneaders was packed as that was the popular thing to do that day, but we enjoyed our delicious breakfast.

We shared with the kids Sourdough and cinnamon pancakes with orange juice and a cup of fruit.

What a fun family day. Love days like these.

What's in a Chick?

Since Easter decided to come early this year, we decided to get in the mood and buy some little Chicks. Jeremy and I kids headed to IFA to pick out the ones they wanted.

In the end, Jeremy and the kids picked out four little baby chicks. We named them each after animated characters of movies the kids love to watch.

The Blonde Chick her name is Lostso Chicken Mama
A Striped black and white Chick her name is Mavis
Small Red Head Chick Nemo
and the Bigger Red Head Chick Wrecjit Ralphie

As much as the kids have loved having, holding and petting them.

I think our dogs are feeling left out and want to play with the little chicks as well.

We are excited to see the chicks grow and to start having fresh eggs near the end of the summer.

Jack & Abi February 2013

Jack and Abi,

Usually I know I write a little letter to each of you, however the memories for the month merge together.

Both of you have grown so much in your vocabulary. Creating sentences, learning punctuation, and working on spelling.

Jack you have started to really catch and throw any ball that we are able to find. You have been doing so well in being reverent when it comes to primary. Starting this year in Sunbeams it can be hard to sit still for 2 hours.

Abi you have become more independent with playing barbies, playing on your leap pad and learning new things each day. On the 16th of February you had a big spill when hanging out at your aunts hourse. You were running in your socks and slipped and fell flat on your face disturbing your two front teeth. As they have set back in, this I think, is one of many owies that you will incur.

Jack you continue to love preschool and love doing the activities. Abi as on the subject as preschool you can not wait until you can go to preschool and if it was your decision you would start going right now. Your dad and I have to explain to you that you will start preschool in the fall. You so desperately wanted a backpack and I explained to you that if we found one you could get it and so you spotted the one you want. So you continue to wear it around where ever you go.

You both have grown so well in gymnastics, causing issues, but also really working on the different techniques your coaches are teaching you. You both will be starting soccer and I am really excited to report on the games you play and the growth you both will have. We LOVE you both.
