2 Months Old

Jack is 2 months old today. I was told that when you are on maturnity leave time flies by and now I believe it. I have one month and 14 days left until I have to go back to work and I can't believe its almost time for that. Jack has been nothing but a blessing to our family although he has tested us in patience and no sleep we so love him. I can't even picture our lives without him. He is starting to make noises (we are past the passing gas noises) he is actually cooing and aweing and he will actally talk to you or the dogs who ever is around when he wants to say something. He has been smiling a lot and as I am a retard I need to start carrying our camera around so I can take it out and get a picture of Jack smiling. He is such a good boy and has been sleeping for about 5 - 6 hours depending on the day. We love him so much.

WE ARE A STATISTIC!!

A story is always told when you decide to adopt and once you adopt you will get pregnant. Jack our adopted son was born on May 16, 2009, most of you know this because we plastered it all over our blog. Well as we told people about Jack they would tell us, watch out you are going to get pregnant. I swore that I or that we were not going to be a statistic. Eight weeks later I was wrong.

Jack will be having a brother or sister sometime around February 11, 2010. As this was a shock to us we are so excited and can't wait to add another baby to our family.

4th of July 2009

The last few years we have gone over to Jason and Tawnie's house for BBQ and Fireworks. This year we headed up to O-Town (Ogden) to Jake and Mindy's house for some Swimming, BBQing, and Fireworks.

We had a really fun time. It was fun watching the crazy men do tricks off of the diving board and trampoline and landing in either just the water of the pool or trying to make it through a tube.

For the BBQ we had Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Salads, fruit it was a great smorgasbord. When it got dark it was time to clean up the pool, the food and get ready to watch some fireworks. We didn't have any crazy fireworks this time (last year Jason had some fireworks that he bought a few years back and wanted to see if they were still good. As he was lighting them the firework flew across the street hit a car and I think landed in his neighbors yard, it was quite entertaining.)

Thanks Jake and Mindy for having us at your house and for letting us swim in the pool. Jared and Aspen, we missed you both and the girls, maybe next time.
